V tomto tichém aktu dáváme mrtvé samičce bažanta něco, co jí během života nikdy nebylo dopřáno – možnost posledního letu. Letu, který není únikem, ale obřadem. Nejde o resuscitaci, ale o důstojné gesto, o zvířecí posmrtný rituál.
Tělo ptáka, jinak považované za biologický odpad, se stává centrem pozornosti, péče a úcty. Umělkyně ho nese krajinou, jako by mu pomáhala překročit hranici mezi životem a smrtí – jako by ho na chvíli zbavila tíže. Prostor, kterým se pohybuje, se stává vzdušným polem pro poslední „neuskutečněný“ pohyb.
„Nejdelší let“ je performancí soucitu, smutku i něžného vzdoru. Zpochybňuje lidskou dominanci nad přírodou a navrací zvířeti symbolickou svobodu, která mu v našem světě často zůstává odepřena.

The Longest Flight
In this quiet act, a dead female pheasant is offered something she never had the chance to experience in life – a final flight. Not an escape, but a ritual. Not revival, but a gesture of dignity; a posthumous rite of passage.
Her body, often dismissed as biological waste, becomes a focus of attention, care, and reverence. The artist carries her through the landscape, as if helping her cross the boundary between life and death – lifting her, for a moment, from the pull of the earth. The space she moves through becomes an aerial field for one last, unrealized motion.
The Longest Flight is a performance of compassion, mourning, and tender resistance. It questions human dominion over nature and symbolically returns to the animal a freedom it was denied in life.
