Inkubátor je performativní simulací stavu, ve kterém se tělo nachází mezi zrodem a paralýzou. Umělkyně vstupuje do prostředí, které evokuje skleník – prostor určený pro růst a život – a přesto je zahlcen nepříjemností, dusnem a fyzickým neklidem.
Tato performance vytváří vakuum. Nejen vzdušné, ale i existenciální. Divák se stává svědkem okamžiku, kdy jsme si až bolestně vědomi každého záhybu vlastního těla. Pocení, dýchání, napětí – vše je akcentováno a zesíleno. Místo, které by mělo být pečující a bezpečné, se mění v past introspekce.
Inkubátor je záznamem stavu, kdy růst není možný bez tření. Kdy vědomí sama sebe je tak silné, že se stává nesnesitelným.
Incubator is a performance that simulates a state between birth and paralysis. The artist places herself in a space resembling a greenhouse – a site of growth and life – yet filled with discomfort, heat, and physical unease.
This is a vacuum, not just of air, but of existence. The performance evokes a moment of hyper-awareness, when one feels every fragment of the body with painful clarity. Sweat, breath, tension – all become amplified. A space that should offer care becomes a trap of introspection.
Incubator captures a condition where growth cannot occur without friction – where self-awareness becomes nearly unbearable.
